Step 1: Watch the Video
Step 2: Summary
Matthew 7:13-14Â
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Being on the road can be tough, but take heart you can still find it and God will be in the driver seat helping you get there if you trust him.
Isaiah 40:30-31
30Â Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.
Whenever you feel weak, God can renew your strength as you are on the journey. Whenever you need help, God will be there to give you what you need.
1 Corinthians 9:24-25
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
Thinking about what awaits you at the end of the journey helps you to remember why your on the journey in the first place and can even get you excited!
Step #3: Grab a pen and paper and answer these questions
- What do you do when times get hard? How do you respond?
- Who do I have in my life that can help me persevere?
- How does knowing Jesus is with you on the journey change the way you look at trials?
