Position: Teen Ministry Intern – Female
Church: Soconn Church
Location: Fairfield County & New Haven County
Salary: $20 per hour
Hours: 10 hours per week
Description:
We are seeking a female intern to work in our teen ministry at Soconn Church. The intern will work directly with our female teenagers, helping to plan and execute events, provide support and mentorship, and be a positive role model to our youth.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and coordinating teen events and activities
- Provide mentorship and support to female teenagers in the church
- Participate in weekly meetings and training sessions with the teen ministry team
- Build relationships with youth and help them develop spiritually and emotionally
- Collaborate with other ministry departments and volunteers as needed
- Coordinate with parents as needed
Requirements:
- Must be a female disciple
- Must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith (1 Timothy 3:9)
- Must be a self-starter
- Must have transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with youth and helping them grow in their faith
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role
