I have always had a love for God and a desire to please God from a very young age. I made the personal decision to get Baptized at the age of 12 because of my sincere love for God. At the time, however, I did not have full understanding of the significance of Baptism or what it truly meant to make Jesus Lord. While studying with fellow members of the Southern Connecticut Church of Christ, I spent a lot of time examining my life and realized that I did not truly make Jesus Lord. I most certainly had sincere intent, but I did not put it into consistent action. Thus I ultimately made the decision to take God much more seriously, get Baptized as an adult, and be more consistent in my walk with Christ. It is a refreshing feeling. I look forward to continued fellowship with members of this Church and truly living my life with Jesus as Lord.
