Gift Based Church

We have done a lot of work to unleash our God given gifts as a Church and we have not arrived, but the Church has been encouraged and excited to keep it going! We really want to be a Church where everyone understands their gifts and is using their God gifts. If you or your Church are looking for a way to roll this out, here is where we have landed so far.

12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by[c] one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

5. Members complete this survey: https://s.pointerpro.com/dkproiek

      • We want people to be a part of gift based ministries that they feel passionate about or called to!

6.We set up an all Church meeting after everyone has completed

      1. The group meets to decide who the group facilitator will be
      2. They decide their mission statement
      3. Action items
      4. Send these to Patrick and we post all of this information on our website and in the app

7. We meet one more time and after that, they roll with it!

      • The idea is if we find the sweet spot for all of our disciples, these groups will be self-starting.
      • These groups are not meant to be “burdensome” the team can decide the frequency of meetings and objectives.

8. We continue to bolster these efforts as a Leadership Team

    • The leadership team exists primarily to serve and empower our teams. The question we must ask is, “how can I help you be successful?
