We want to welcome Sylvester back home as he has been restored to Christ! Below we have some sharing from Sylvester and from the brothers that were privileged to be a part of the journey!

Luke 15:3-7
3 Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. (Luke 15:3-7)
From Sylvester Himself
“Hey everyone, some of you may know me but for those who don’t I’m Sylvester. I was baptized November 16th 2008 when I was in 8th grade in the Bronx teens ministry. As you can imagine it was definitely a tough and a amazing journey. Sadly I walked away from God between 3-4 years because I lost sight of what was truly important and that was God, it wasn’t about him anymore and walking away was so much easier then having to answer or confess to my sins. The good news is that I’m back and I’m never leaving again. It was a lot of prayer and falling back in-love with the word. I’m here, Jesus is Lord”.
From Fred Goodman
“Studying the bible and helping Sylvester get restored to God and his church was a joy. He is a young man who loves God and the bible. There are two things that encourages me about Sylvester.First his humility to admit his shortcomings and being wiling to be taught the scriptures again. Second, his eagerness to encourage the brothers and sisters (Heb 10:24-25). He is a man who loves the family of God. I know Sylvester is ready and willing for God to direct his life, to impact the lives of those in the church and those wanting to know God”.
From George Murray
“When Kyrlyse Blackwell reached out to me, regarding Sylvester, I was unsure of what to expect. However, from our first conversation, I knew he was an amazing individual. When he told me about how he had left the church and how he wanted to get reconnected to the body and ultimately restored. Since that conversation, I have seen nothing but zeal, devotion to the fellowship, continual hunger for God’s Word and encouragement to everyone he meets. He has made it his mission to being right with God. I have been so encouraged by the messages that he sends from his quiet times and just how much he loves God. I am beyond excited to see how God uses him in our fellowship. Welcome Home Bro!”
From Asderly Pierre-Maintus
“When I started hanging out with Sylvester, I noticed that he was comfortable and happy being with us, it’s like he’s been missing this part of his life. During his studies he encouraged me the way he humbled himself, listening to everyone’s advice knowing that he knew a lot already. I’m happy to be part of his studies and happy that he’s coming back home.”
