With whoops, cheers and some tears members of the Southern Connecticut Church of Christ celebrated as campus ministers Will and Kristen Lambert were appointed evangelist and women’s ministry leader to the church in Madrid, Spain. On September 4th, Brice Wilson made Jesus Lord of his life and was baptized into Christ. Brice, still only 15 years old, grew up in the church with his parents Dennis and Marquetta Wilson. His parents shared how he was able to transition from the children's ministry to the preteen ministry and now the teen ministry with the help of spiritual brothers and sisters in the church. Southern Connecticut welcomed another sister to our ministry! Christy Pope was baptized in Stratford on Sunday, May 29 after church. She is a friend of PJ Mccreanor, who both work with the homeless. Christy has been studying the Bible with the entire Stratford family group since last fall and has come a long way. Aside from being the head of Compassion Ministry for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Christy is also a scholar, and teacher for SATs and college courses, a mother and grandmother.
This is a follow up to a recent Men's Midweek class, so it is addressed to the men, but can be applied to any disciples with a few obvious changes. Businesses routinely take inventory of their stock.
